“This recipe is often requested for wedding receptions,” says Erika Busz of Kent, Washington. “For a fancier presentation, cut the bars into triangle shapes and drizzle white chocolate over each one individually.”

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 6 ounces white baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • FROSTING:
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel, optional
  • 6 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Very good, next time I might try cooking with chopped fresh cherries on the inside.

I made these for family Christmas and my uncle actually hid one for later because they were going fast! Yummo!! :)

This was excellent, but I did make some changes. I'm not a big fan of crunchy bits in my desserts, so I only added half of the white chocolate to the batter than what was called for. I couldn't really taste the cranberries in the finished product, so I chopped up the remainder of the 12 ounce bag of cranberries I used (about 1 1/2 cups) and sprinkled them over the drizzled white chocolate. They tasted great with those changes, but what made them out-of-this-world was throwing them in the freezer! Better than an ice cream sandwich!

I made these for our Church Holiday Dinner and they were a hit. Everyone raved about how pretty they were and how good they tasted. One gentleman said they were the best thing there! Needless to say, I didn't bring any home with me.

This recipe is absolutely a "Keeper". Very easy to make. I baked for 19 minutes. I definitely would not baker any longer. The tenderness was perfect. These remind me of Starbuck's Cranberry Bliss they sell at Xmas time only better. A must try for the Holidays

This recipe is excellent and makes up so quickly, it's an easy keeper. My family absolutely loves it and I tend to hide it to keep it for special occasions.

Really enjoyed them, but I think next time I will just drizzle the 6 oz of white chocolate over the cooled blondies instead of using the frosting. The cream cheese frosting seems to overpower the cranberries and white chocolate.
