This lasagna is my husband's favorite dish. I love it because it's low-fat and a real time-saver since you don't cook the noodles before baking. —Karen McCabe, Provo, Utah

When I first tasted this, I thought "very, very good, but not mind blowing". Then I compared the nutritional info to all the other "low fat" lasagna recipes on TOH. When factoring in ease of preparation, time, nutrition and taste, this recipe zooms to the top as the winner. I froze the leftovers for another night and they were just as good the second time around. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the portion size is very generous. This just became my go-to recipe for lasagna.

I didn't realize this would take so long to make when I started, so we ate really late, but it was worth the wait! I had most of the ingredients on hand already, and it was really delicious! My whole family enjoyed it. I served it with buttered bread and a salad. You'd never know there was no ricotta cheese in it! Nice-sized portion for the 280 calories, also. I'll definitely be making this again!

I made this for a family gathering, and everyone asked me for the recipe! I did use more mozerella than the recipe calls for because I put it each layer also.

I make this at least once a month, my husband and I love it very much. I follow the recipe as is but add an extra layer of lasagna noodles and cottage cheese. This is absoutely delicious!

My family loves this and my husband has no idea it is healthy for him. Since he has heart issues, it is wonderful to find a recipe that is simple and good for him that he thinks is not. Thanks

Fairly healthy and my whole family loved it! You have to have the time for it to bake, but a VERY easy recipe to make.

I added a few dried herbs to "spice" the sauce up a bit. It was a HUGE hit with my kids! They came back for seconds!!

Amazing recipe. But instead of using ground beef, I use ground turkey and also add 5 oz of fresh baby spinach to the sauce. So good. It's on our list of favorite dinners!

Made this last night. So good will definitely make again. I used 3/4 lb ground beef and a 1/4 lb ground sausage (jimmy dean all natural). I used 6 oz of mozzarella and used ricotta part skim in place of cottage cheese (less carbs). We didn't use all the sauce. Next time I will double the sauce and freeze some for spaghetti later. My husband who doesn't love red sauce went back for seconds. Weight watcher points 9, but a little less since we didn't use all the sauce. This is a keeper for my book!

This is a great everyday lasagna recipe! Nice rich tomato flavor and allows us (on a Diabetic regime) to have comfort food we love. Thanks for having the exchanges!
