Vinegar Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons cider or white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9 inches)

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, butter, vinegar and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.

Very unusual pie. The texture was good. But it had the taste of lemons although lemons were not used. I will make thi pie again and again. MMMM good!
