Turkey Biscuit Bake
This creamy casseroles offer comforting flavor. This is one of my favorite casseroles to prepare for my family.Diane Hyatt, Oregonia, Ohio

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
FILLING:
1 cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups milk
2 cups diced cooked turkey
1 jar (6 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Combine
the egg, butter, water and lemon juice; stir into dry ingredients
until a soft dough forms. Spread half of the dough into a greased
13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.
In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and salt until
smooth; gradually add the milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for
1-2 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Yield: 9 servings.
