Turkey BBQ Recipe

I originally got this recipe from my daughter-in-law, who likes to cook healthy meals. I just added my Texas touch to give the chunky turkey sandwiches some zip. I serve them a cranberry salad. —Arlene Anderson of San Antonio, Texas

Tip

Quick Homemade Croutons

I hate to waste the heel from a loaf of bread or a few leftover hot dog or hamburger buns. So I cube them into a bowl, spray them with nonstick cooking spray and season with garlic powder, parsley and basil or oregano. Then I bake them on a cookie sheet at 250° until they’re crisp and brown. My family loves the quick homemade croutons. —Nancy C., Windermere, Florida

Great use of leftover turkey! We only had enough turkey for 1/2 recipe, but my husband started prepping for the whole recipe. Therefore, we ended up using a mix of half turkey and half chicken. Turned out great!
