I couldnt find Easter eggs yet so I followed 1 of the reviews, to use tootsie rolls. They worked wonderfully. Made these with a group of kids for superbowl. They had a ball and they were delicious. We did make a hole in them and filled them with cheesecake filling.

Ron07, you do not need all of these ingredients, just get some chocolate Easter eggs and pipe the laces on the football and ou can use green coconut for the grass using green food coloring and put on your own cupcakes or store bought. How's that for easy?

I haven't made these yet but I think I will use chocolate easter eggs for the football.

Looking for something without the peanut butter? Tootsie rolls soften up nicely in the microwave and can be shaped into footballs. Just add the white accents.

These turned out really well. I used honey bunches of oats instead of granola and it tastes great. The only suggest I have is to dust your hands in powdered sugar when shaping the footballs. I found they stuck to my hands without it. They look great!!

I would like something in the footballs other than peanut butter. I use this for treats the kids make at Royal Family Kids Camp and I can't use any nuts.

I'm guilty of shortcuts! I love the cute idea so I purchased football shaped chocolates! (the kind you have to unwrap in foil) I piped on the frosting and just laid them in the grass. Worked out great-am planning on making the truffles-someday.
