Tomato Tossed Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup oil and vinegar salad dressing
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

  • Place lettuce and tomatoes in a salad bowl. Combine salad dressing, chives and thyme; drizzle over salad and gently toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving equals 71 calories, 5 g fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 267 mg sodium, 6 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 vegetable, 1 fat.
