This was very good! I added garlic and onion to the ground beef while browning. I added grren onions and sliced black olives to the top of the chili before I added the cheese (sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack) , and on top of the cheese I added fresh chopped cilantro. Very good, served w/ the salsa and sour cream. Served a lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad on the side . Thanks!

This was VERY yummy!!! and sooooooo simple! Love it! will definitely make it again - only changes i made was I added chopped onion and garlic to the ground beef when it was cooking.. I think you can do lots of variations to this... next time i will top w/green onions too. OH and for the poster the chili con carne - i couldn't find a "can" of it either called that specifically but basically chili con carne means chili with meat - so i just got a 15oz can of chili w/beans by Hormel! worked fine!

I'm having trouble finding chile con carne in the store. Can anyone give me advice on what this is and where I can find it?

Very easy (especially if you prepare the taco meat mixture up ahead of time). I doubled the recipe and used two 16 ounce cans of biscuits and there was plenty of meaxt mixture to cover everything. My family ate this right up!
