I modified my Mom's recipe as I became a more experienced cook. Everyone raves about how tender and rich this dish is. I make it about every 2 weeks during the winter.—Kathie Morris, Redmond, Oregon

Very good recipe my family loved it. I added a can of mushrooms instead of the celery and it turned out awesome. Will be making this again.

A delicious meal to come home to. I served it with a small portion of egg noodles and green beans.

I will absolutely make this again. It was flavorful, delicious, and the meat was falling apart as it came out of the crock-pot. Yum!!

Very good - Very easy

This was a good recipe. It didn't "wow" me too much. I added 1/4 teaspoon of hickory liquid smoke and that helped add a little more taste (I probably could've got away with a 1/2 teaspoon). For those that don't like bland foods, i would suggest altering this recipe by adding liquid smoke OR adding paprika to the flour mixture to spice it up a bit. I would still make this again because it is easy and was good, just not the best. I consider this a "base recipe" that should be altered to your preference.

Absolutely delicious. Taste and texture are perfect. My husband and son are both expert cooks and they gave this one a 12 on a scale of 10. Thanks for sharing and will definitely make it again.

Made this today and family loved it! My husband said, "This is bangin'! This recipe is a keeper!" My family does not like chunks of onion but likes the onion taste. I substituted dehydrated onions for real onions and it was wonderful! Will definately make this again!

I've been making this for years and years. I always make stroganoff with the leftovers by crumbling the meat up in the gravy and adding the usual stroganoff ingredients, then serve it over noodles. You get a totally new dish with little effort.
