Tip

Pour Pancake Batter with Little Mess

I mix prepared pancake batter in a pitcher for a no-fuss method of making pancakes. There are no messy drips, and any extra batter can be refrigerated with the lid left on the pitcher. —Linda J., Toivola, Michigan

Using a funnel, I pour my pancake batter into a plastic squeeze bottle. Then I just squeeze batter onto the griddle without the usual drippy mess that comes with ladling it out of the bowl. —Mary V., St. Francisville, Illinois

Oh so good! But I'm a celiac with a corn allergy so I substituted Bob's Red Mill Pancake Mix and potato starch instead of the corn starch. My Goodness! And my waistline! I couldn't stop eating them!

My family loves these - I made buttermilk pancakes from scratch rather than a mix and I used granny smith apples for tartness. So yummy!

Pancakes made from pancake mix is not a true pancake recipe it tastes better when you make the pancakes from scratch.

I made these a little while ago. I used granny smith apples and it really added to the flavor.

These were delicious! Used a Betty Crocker recipe for the pancakes instead of the mix and they turned out fluffy and great! My husband kept commenting on how good they were!!! A keeper for sure!
