Will make many more times. Next time I will double. And I uesed a rack inside the pan to make sure the bacon cooked all around. My oldest grandson did not like the sugar/chili topping so next time won't put any on his poppers. Served with tortilla soup. Wonderful. Nancy

I really changed this recipe by eliminating the bacon altogether, as we are trying to limit our intake of processed meats. I simply filled the peppers with the cream cheese/cheddar mixture, and sprinkled the sugar/seasoning mixture on top. They were excellent! Wish I had made more- a group of college boys finished these off in no time flat.

WOW- unbelievably good! Next time I make these I will use a rack inside the pan to cook these on. I also cooked them 10-15 minutes longer than the time shown in recipe- I like the bacon a bit crispy. So good- I am sure to make these when I need a delicious appetizer.
