Sugarless Banana Walnut Cake Recipe

Prep: 15 min. Bake: 30 min.

Yield: 9 Servings

Ingredients

2/3 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

In bowl, beat bananas and butter until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to banana mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Spoon into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Yield: 9 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 piece) equals 315 calories, 20 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 98 mg cholesterol, 353 mg sodium, 27 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 9 g protein.
