Strawberry Vinegar

This recipe a wonderful start to a vinaigrette. It is so easy to infuse the vinegar with the strawberries and it tastes wonderful.Marilyn Nash, Orange City, Florida16 ServingsPrep: 15 min. + chilling
Ingredients
- Whole strawberries
- Vinegar
- Sugar
Directions
- Fill a large jar with rinsed strawberries (do not hull). Cover with
- vinegar and seal. Refrigerate for 10 days. Strain and measure
- vinegar; discard berries. For each pint of vinegar, add 3 cups of
- sugar. Bring mixture to a boil; boil 2 minutes. Cool. Pour into
- sterile bottles or jars; seal. Yield: 16 tablespoons for each pint
- made.
