I used sliced frozen strawberries mixed with strawberry pie filling. Then we cubed plain cheesecake and put it on each layer of cake. White chocolate pudding mixed with cool whip was the white layer. Glutinous, but very good.

I made this as a dessert for a cookout we hosted.....everyone loved it and several people asked for the recipe. This was so easy to make and the final result looked beautiful and tasted great!

Great recipe! My kids love it! The prep time should really be adjusted, though. It may take 20 min to actually assemble it, but it took me almost an hour to prep:cutting, mixing, etc.

Fresh Strawberries or Frozen! Doesn't matter! This is a great dish! Serve it by dipping into the bowl or cutting or just everyone diving in at the same time! Doesn't matter. It taste great. You should have seen my kids going after it. Just put the dish in the middle of the table and gave them all a spoon!

I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY MADE THIS RECIPE, BUT WAS JUST WONDERING, HOW DO YOU SERVE A TRIFLE? IT SEEMS SO DEEP. DO YOU SERVE ALL SIX OR SEVEN LAYERS AT A TIME, OR THREE AND THREE?

I made this recipe last summer and it was delicious! Now that it's winter I was wondering if I could use frozen strawberries instead of fresh, because they're out of season?
