This fresh-tasting cake with its pretty pink tint took center stage at the reception for my farmer cousin, Scott Kittelmann, and his wife, Kathy. To hint at the flavor before cutting, garnish the top of the cake with whole strawberries. —Pam Anderson, Billings, Montana

Great with a Swiss Meringue or 7 Minute frosting! Buttercream too sweet for this cake.

way too sweet and too much gelatin. Waste of time!

This cake is awesome!! This is my GO TO cake from now on when I want to impress everyone. I bake a lot of cakes but this is a show off cake! It was very moist. I doubled the recipe in order to have a four layer cake. I also used a cream cheese icing and put strawberry preserves in the middle of the first and second layers... AWESOME!!!

I made this cake with Duncan Hines Whipped Cream Cheese frosting for a 60-days Accident free party at my work and it was nearly gone by 5 hours! The only problem I found was that there seems to be a typo with the cake mix. The only boxes I could find were 15 1/4 oz and 16 3/4 oz. Is the mix supposed to be 15 1/4 oz?

We made this for our daughter's first birthday cake. Everybody liked it, including the birthday girl, but no one really raved about it, so I think we'll go back to the chocolate cake I usually make for birthdays.

I made this cake on Mother's Day. I put a layer of cream cheese icing on each layer before I iced it with the whipped cream. My family loved it! I will definitely make it again.
