Strawberries al Moscato with Vanilla Cream
Ruby red strawberries star in this sweet indulgence. Topped with a luscious vanilla cream, this is one dessert that impresses guests whether served in an attractive dish or a pretty meringue nest. Pair with GALLO® Family Vineyards Moscato.

Ingredients
1 quart fresh strawberries, quartered
1/4 cup
Gallo® Family Vineyards Moscato
4 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar
Fresh mint leaves, optional
Directions
In a bowl, toss strawberries with the Moscato, honey and lemon juice.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving. In a separate mixing bowl,
combine the cream, vanilla and sugar until soft peaks form. Spoon
berry mixture into chilled serving dishes. Garnish berry mixture
with vanilla cream and mint leaves. Yield: 8 servings.
