Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sliced zucchini
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup Crisco® Light Olive Oil or Canola Oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • In a large skillet, saute the zucchini and garlic in oil until zucchini is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with seasonings. Serve immediately. Yield: 8 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (1/2 cup) equals 77 calories, 7 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 299 mg sodium, 4 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.
