Stir-Fried Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 6 cups sliced cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add cabbage, water and salt. Cook, uncovered, 5-7 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 cup) equals 85 calories, 7 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 314 mg sodium, 6 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 1 g protein.

Very easy! I was afraid to try it but it will be a staple on our asian food nights.

it must be less than 85 cal. ptobably 50 cal per serving

The sugar was a great flavor addition but I think it did make the edges of the cabbage turn brown.

My husband loved this. I did make a small change. I added about 2 tablespoons of finely shopped onion and some pepper.
