My grandmother used to fix this yummy dish for my Girl Scout troop when I was growing up. Now, I make it for my stepdaughters’ scout troop. It's easy to prepare, and the girls always beg me to make it —Kimberly Howland, Fremont, Michigan

I'm sure children would love this, but the adults in this family weren't thrilled. The pasta layer needed a bit more flavor; perhaps more cheese and a bit of garlic powder. I would suggest that the pasta be mixed with the meat mixture.

Delicious! I have 2 teenagers, so I almost cut the recipe in half, thinking it would be way too much. I'm so glad I didn't! The little bit that was left over was eaten for lunch the next day.

Thanks for the great recipe.

It seemed to take forever to make (maybe because we were starving!) - but it was worth the wait!! Very delicious! I agree w/ BluesMan though, next time I will mix the pasta & meat sauce instead of layering. Yum!

This is really delicious! I'll definitely make this one again. I think next time I might mix up the pasta and meat instead of layering them. I might also use more cheese.

I have a hard time imagining fitting all of this in 3 quart casserole. I cut the recipe in half and it still filled a 3 quart casserole to the top.
