My grandmother used to fix this yummy dish for my Girl Scout troop when I was growing up. Now, I make it for my stepdaughters’ scout troop. It's easy to prepare, and the girls always beg me to make it —Kimberly Howland, Fremont, Michigan

This definitely makes a lot! I sort of messed this up by forgetting to put the milk in with the pasta...but the recipe still tasted really good. I believe I might try to mix the meat in with the pasta and bake it that way next time as my family didn't really like the meat all on top....but we all liked the taste!!

Easy to make recipe. Doubled recipe and added canadian bacon to it.

Almost like spaghetti in a casserole. A nice dinner when you're in a hurry.

We've made this many times now. Everyone just loves it ! Definately a keeper =] (half batch is super easy to make too, full batch makes quite a bit)

I'll make this for our next Potluck. It sounds delicious.

This was the second time I made this for my family and I will honestly say the second time was MUCH better than the first. It baked a lot better and tasted so much better -- even with cutting the recipe in 1/2.Definitely will make this again! For now, we have leftovers, to keep us satisfied!

I made this last night for my parents and me for supper. I made it as directed except I left out the hamburger and used canadian bacon instead of pepperoni. It looked and smelled really good, but the taste was definitely a disappointment. The pasta got pretty mushy, and I thought the casserole was pretty blah all around. I love pizza, so I was anxious to try this recipe. But I don't think I will be making this one again. I think this recipe would be great for kids, but for adults...not so much.

My entire family loves this recipe. It's definitely on the "go to" list. It's also great to make for potlucks and large groups of ravenous teenagers!

This recipe was quite tasty. Mozzarella cheese isn't widely available where I live (except fresh), so I used a combo of cheddar and gouda. Also prepared sauces aren't common here, so I used tomato puree and spiced it up myself. Would also be good with mushrooms and/or bell peppers added. A nice twist on two traditional meals =)

This was a great recipe. It makes lots of food. My BF and I ate dinner one night and each of us had lunch for 4 days afterwards. Very filling. I thought the garlic was a bit too prominent, but still delicious.

Yummy!! This was a big hit in my family. It made a huge amount but it got gobbled up. I made it exactly as posted but I might try a large jar of spaghetti sauce instead of the pizza sauce next time.

This recipe is great, I have made this many times since finding it a few months ago. My husband and 3 kids love it. I took it too a church dinner and everyone is asking for the recipe. I never mix the meat sauce with the pasta, I put it on top as directed and I only use 2 cups of cheese on top and 1 pound of ground beef, it's cuts the cost in half and still taste great.

wow this was yummy!!!! What a nice "change" and something different - easy to always have the ingredients on hand too! I used 1/2 parmesan and romano and used grated instead of shredded... also rather than layering i too mixed the meat mixture in w/the pasta rather than put only on top - i think it blends better that way! VERY yummy and will be a go to recipe! :)

I'm always looking for new pasta dishes to make. When I found this one I had to make it. So I made it tonight for my family. I have two kids 11 and 4. They absolutely loved it, my 11 year old even asked if he could take some to school tomorrow for his lunch.I changed it just a tad bit, instead of using strictly ground beef, I used 1 pound of hot Italian sausage and 1 pound of ground beef, just to give it extra flavor. I seasoned my meat with garlic powder and Lawrys seasoning salt.I also used the amount of pizza sauce it called for, but thought it could have used just a little more sauce. Then again I like my food saucy.Overall it was delicious...plus my kiddos loved it!!!

I think I will try it with mushrooms next time with pepperoni's because my husband doesn't care for pepperoni's. My boys loved it though.

Was a good pot luck casserole I seasoned the ground beef with 2 cloves of minced garlic, italian seasoning, and basil. I also doubled the pepperoni and layered that, but mixed the sause with the pasta.

I was looking for recipes to use up a pasta stockpile & came across this one. I had all the ingredients on hand & it looked like something my family would love. It turned out perfectly! I read in the other reviews to go ahead & mix in your sauce instead of layering it, so I did. The result was fantastic! My husband and children loved it & my husband is usually not a fan of pasta dishes. This had a great pizza flavor & is completely satisfying! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I'm sure children would love this, but the adults in this family weren't thrilled. The pasta layer needed a bit more flavor; perhaps more cheese and a bit of garlic powder. I would suggest that the pasta be mixed with the meat mixture.

Delicious! I have 2 teenagers, so I almost cut the recipe in half, thinking it would be way too much. I'm so glad I didn't! The little bit that was left over was eaten for lunch the next day. Thanks for the great recipe.

It seemed to take forever to make (maybe because we were starving!) - but it was worth the wait!! Very delicious! I agree w/ BluesMan though, next time I will mix the pasta & meat sauce instead of layering. Yum!

This is really delicious! I'll definitely make this one again. I think next time I might mix up the pasta and meat instead of layering them. I might also use more cheese.I have a hard time imagining fitting all of this in 3 quart casserole. I cut the recipe in half and it still filled a 3 quart casserole to the top.
