Spicy Paprika Herb Rub Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients; store in a covered container. Rub over meat or poultry before grilling or broiling. Yield: 1/2 cup.

I put this on pork chops with a little olive oil. The only thing I did different is 1/2 tsp. onion powder with a dash of salt - I didn't have onion salt on hand in my pantry. I went easy on the 2 peppers. I didn't want it super spicy. Still came out with great flavor. My picky husband requested I add this to my regular dinner rotation.
