Spiced Almond Cookies Recipe

These cookies are my all-time favorite! The recipe has won ribbons at fairs and applause from family and guests alike! One of the reasons I like it is that I can make the dough and freeze it. Then, when I need another batch of cookies, I take a "log" out of the freezer, thaw it and make fresh cookies in minutes!

These were excellent. They have a pleasant blend of spices. My husband said they tasted like his grandma's icebox cookies! Old-fashioned and yummy.

This recipe can be frozen for later. It sliced nicely and tastes nice. I love Almonds! I will be making this again.

Delicious cookie. Can't understand why anybody would rate it lower than excellent. I'm new here, so perhaps there is different criteria among regular posters, but I must say that I love easy, prepare ahead, slice and bake cookies with lots of spice and this one fits that. My family love them. Thanks for this fabulous recipe!
