Speedy Brownies Recipe

Speedy Brownies Recipe Speedy Brownies Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 5

Since you "dump" all the ingredients together for these brownies, they take very little time to prepare. There's no mistaking the homemade goodness of a freshly baked batch—they are rich and fudgy! —Diane Heier, Harwood, North Dakota

These are delicious, maybe even better than the boxed mix! And they're so easy! To cut down (slightly) on the calories, I used 3 whole eggs and 2 egg whites in place of the 5 whole eggs, and the texture was still deliciously chewy and moist. So good!

I needed to make something for a gathering and decided to try these. They were a hit and I came home with an empty pan!

Made these today, as I had all the ingredients in the house, for my grandson & friends. They came together within no time, but I used mini-chips & it took away from the appearance, the regular ones on the picture show. Don't use the mini ones as they don't look as appealing as the regular size ones do. Will definitely make again, but use the different chips, as stated. Thanks Diane, for the great recipe.

Just finished making these. Certainly easy enough! Are you sure there is no baking soda or baking powder to add?? Please advise.

I'm not sure how many stars I gave it (my computer is omitting the pic), but it should be 5 stars. An AMAZING recipe-it truly was quick, not to mention delicious. I was a little skeptical, since I ran out of white flour and had to use whole wheat. Also, I substituted melted butter for the canola oil. Despite all that, it was amazing! It bordered on the "chocolate cake" texture. Oh, and it came out of the pan super easy! I mean, all I did was put the knife in a liiiiitttlee and pop-out comes the brownie! Anyways, all in all, great recipe, I'm definitely making it again.

I have made these brownies several times and have shared the recipe with others as it is always requested. Simple and fast to prepare, a true go to recipe when you need something quick and easy.

I haven't made this recipe yet, but I am going to try it. I am wondering if you can use egg whites for the 5 regular eggs? I am trying to reduce calories and fat as much as can be done. Please advise

Excellent. Why would you ever want to buy brownies mix again? Definitely will make again:)
