Bacon adds flavor to this comforting stovetop supper my mom frequently made when we were growing up. Now I prepare it for my family. It disappears quickly and is budget-pleasing, too, at just 87¢ for each serving. Kelli Jones Perris, California

This is certainly easy and ok, but whatever you do don't go over at all on the chili sauce or it becomes too sweet. I didn't see what the bacon added to it, but I think it could use some cheese.

My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. I wouldn't change a thing -- except next time, I will make a huge batch!

I have been making this for a couple of years, and it is always wonderful-even better, it is loved by several very picky eaters.

Loved this dish. I added Chili powder and Six Pepper Blend seasoning for a little kick. I think it was even better the second day.

Super simple - great flavor. I didn't have chili sauce so I mixed horseradish with catsup... YUM! It's what makes this recipe different. Also tossed in about a cup of frozen corn kernels and a few garden peas for a color pop.

I make this same recipe only with elbow macaroni. Never put in chlli sauce but will try it the next time. I always use DelMonte Diced tomatoes with jalopenos. It is really delicious. Also my recipe calls for adding 1-2 cups shredded cheese at the end of the cooking tme. Barb
