From LaGrange, Georgia, Kim Rocker writes, “This is an easy dish to prepare ahead of time, refrigerate and bake just before company arrives.” Canned soup makes this casserole creamy but it still cuts well for serving.

I mad this Casserole and everyone loved it. I did make one change; I left out the soup and the sour cream. I substituted Ricotta Cheese for the soup and Cottage Cheese or the Sour Cream. It was still creamy as described and everyone absolutely loved all of the cheesy goodness. I also use a very rich tomato based sauce recipe to help cut the strong cheese flavors. It is jus fantastic. It's a combination of baked spaghetti and a stuffed manicotti dish.

This is a really great tasting and simple recipe. Just finished making it for a grandparent lunch approx 300 people. When i make it at home, I sometimes add oregano garlic black olives etc to spice it up a bit.

The hubby absolutely hates spaghetti and I decided to cook this one night despite his protest. He fell in love and gave it a 10 out of 10 on the hubby scale. It's so easy and amazing ! I didn't have any tomato paste /sauce so I did without and it still was amazing. And since I didn't do two batches I did half a box of noodles, one can of soup, 3/4 cup of sour cream , and spaghetti sauce. This will have to be part of family favs ! Can't wait to make it at the next party we have !

According to my family (and I agree), this recipe is just ok. Although its very easy to fix, not worth the extra time over regular spaghetti.

This has become one of my go-to recipes for quick and easy comfort food. I add some extra salt to bring out the flavor (sometimes I'll throw in a bit of pepper too). This has been a hit with both friends and family.

This is truly wonderful! My family will sometimes burn their tongues because they want to eat it so bad. Or they'll eat it cold because we can't heat it up fast enough.

Everyone loves it! I will be making this again in the near future. At first I was weary about making it because of the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, but it was delicious!

I made this wonderful casserole a couple weeks ago and froze them. We had both of them this week because everyone loved it! I will be making this again soon.

This was good, but my husband and I agreed that it wasn't so amazing as to warrant the additional work (as opposed to regular spaghetti).

I made and froze one, both were excellent. So now, I'm making another batch! I add a can of diced tomatoes and any veg I can find and hot italian sausage. I think I will double the soup and sour cream, as we like it creamy. It may even make three pans.

Excellent. Next time I will add a jar of mushrooms and small amount garlic.

This stuff is awesome. And super easy to make. The only thing I do differently is I don't use spaghetti sauce. I use all tomato sauce and season it myself to turn it into spaghetti sauce. It makes a lot and I always plan to take it for my lunch for a few days. But between me and my husband, it doesn't last long enough. :-)

I made this for an extended family get together, and everyone from 65+ to under 5 enjoyed this.

This is a family favorite now. I forgot to put the tomato sauce in and it's still delicious. I also put in whatever cheese I have on hand and it's always awesome.

My family absolutely loved this recipe! My dad, who isn't a big fan of spaghetti, was probably the biggest fan of this recipe out of all of us!

When I'm having guests I use a 9x13 pan. Classico brand sauce with sausage adds a lot of flavor, and I usually use a high quality sharp cheddar cheese.

Our family loves this and is perfect when you want to give one pan away. I started making it with cream of chicken soup. Yum!

Family loved it. We usually have hard time getting excited about leftovers, but not with this dish! Added red pepper and onions and garlic when browned the beef, also added a can of mushrooms, all to 'health it up' a bit. Turned out great! Didn't use all the cheese, either - subbed in some Parmesan on top instead.

awesome casserole...can't keep any to freeze as the kids all want to take it to their home for dinner.

Reviewed on Jul. 16, 2011 by Wilberst

Really good! I doctored up the store bought sauce with onions, garlic, and oregano so it wasn't bland. I thought about NOT adding the tomato sauce, but decided to try it- it needs it to set up right. Undercook the pasta some so it isn't mushy, but the dish was really tasty!

This became one of our family's favorite because even our picky eaters devoured it! Highly recommend!

Reviewed on Apr. 27, 2011 by theheat01

Awesome!!! It needs more seasoning-salt, pepper, garlic, mushrooms, onions- but it is definitely soemthing that will be made again and frozen!

This was a huge hit in my house. I have to admit I was skeptical when I read the ingredients (sour cream), but I made it anyway based on all of the 5-star reviews. I am so glad I did. Everyone said that they want it to become a regular meal in our house.

My family all loved this dish. With the ease of bottled sauces and canned soup, it saves a lot of time in prep. I did caramelized some onions before browning the meat and also added some Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to the sauce. I shared the extra casserole with my daughter's family and they also gave it a good report.

Suprisingly delicious! The soup adds a lot of flavor! Next time I will try the cream cheese and add 1 can tomato sauce and 1 can of tomato paste to try to keep it from being too liquidy. Can't wait to make it again!

I added cream cheese like others suggested & used cream of celery soup instead of mushroom. This was pretty bland until i added salt, pepper, garlic powder & parmasan cheese & then it was YUMMY!
Will make again.

Very tastey recipe. I personally adapted it and added ingredients & spices for added flavor. i also adapted to be a low carb recipe with under 50 carbs/serving. I adapted it to be vegatarian for family who do not eat meat or dairy . Recommend this recipe be tried, adapted and tasted. You won't be sorry.I make the casserole ahead, wrap it and freeze; write instructions for my family or whoever I give it to on the wrapping under a saran wrap or in a freezer bag. I am asked to make this for a local shelter at least once a month. I make several single servings and casserole or larger sizes for the shelter, sick & shut in and seniors to freeze and eith microwave/rewarm or bake.

I substitute 1/2 of the ground beef with Italian sausage. Husband and I love this! I always try to keep at least one of the frozen ones on hand for us and a SECOND one to give to friends or family who may need a little help in the kitchen after illness, vacation, etc. Very good!

This is great for winter! I've made this several times. It makes alot so I freeze extras in several small casserole dishes for later use. My husband goes deer hunting and processes his own meat. He seasons some of the ground deer meet with italian seasoning. So I use that instead of ground beef. Campbell's also makes a cream of mushroom soup with garlic-I use that instead of regular cream of mushroom. Great recipe!!

This was quite good, kind of a spaghetti lasagna. The only thing I changed was to add a little parmesan cheese to the sour cream mixture. You definitely want to let it rest for about 10 minutes after baking, so it cuts and serves easier.

Finally, included another four cheese melt to Colby Monterey Jack. Also used tomato/basil or roasted garlic spaghetti sauce. Although my husband worked hard at trying to feed me the Congregation really helped us get through a terrible time. Pass this dish along to another in need. It is great and freees well.
