This recipe is very popular here in the South. It's a particular favorite at our house because we always have plenty of sweet potatoes in our garden. Try it with a dollop of whipped cream. —Bonnie Holcomb, Fulton, Mississippi

This recipe is the best. I always get more pie(s) than the recipe says. I also add vanilla extract, rum extract & cinnamon. YUMMY!!!

Wow! What a good pie. My three year old grandson ate every bite of his piece. It is creamy and taste great. There was none left. Even better than grandma's.

This recipe was super easy and my sons and I love it! I'm gonna make it for Thanksgiving, too!

I've been making this recipe since it first came out in 1994. It is not your everyday recipe at at. The top has an awesome crust on it and my ex in laws from Louisiana begged me to make it when they came to visit and for most holidays. I lost my book and am thankful that I was able to pull it up here on-line. It will be made first thing tomorrow. Cant wait to taste it again...

I had very high hopes on this one but was sorely disappointed at Thanksgiving. Would never fix again. Sorry.
