Made according to recipe and had high hopes with all the reviews. However, my family of four found this to be an incredibly boring tasting recipe. After I made it and tasted it, I had to go back to the drawing board. Ended up adding a ton more spice to punch up the flavor. Even then it was still boring. Would never make again.

Schots Is there someway to make this recipe so that there isn't so much sodium. Need it to be less than 600.

You can use reduced sodium ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and leave out the extra added salt. For most folks that would be bland but since you're on a reduced sodium diet already, it'll probably be just right for you. I don't know if that will get it below 600 but it would help.

I just made the chops and sauce. It's a great, simple recipe.

On a larger scale, I put a boneless pork roast in my crock pot add the above ingredients & turn this into pulled pork sandwiches. Yum!!

We loved this!! My daughter, who is the pickiest eater ever, she wont even eat ketchup, LOVED it!! She had 2 pork chops herself! She's a tiny little thing too! I did use boneless chops though. Definitely going in my favorite cookbook! Thanks TOH!!!

My family liked the root beer sauce so much that I have used it for chicken and even on grilled burgers. Definite keeper.
