this is a very tasty dish I kept the butter beans out and and i broke it down in half or better myself on the bacon and the cans of beans but most of the spices stayed the same. take a chance on this one everyone that had it is asking me for the recipe.

I divided by six to make a smaller recipe. It turned out very good and I got request for the recipe. I used Northern instead of Butter beans. I will definitely serve again.

I made these for a small family get together, using the reduced serving recipe as provided by a reviewer. They were a hit and reheated nicely. Very good flavor and will make again. Nice change to typical burger versions.

Haven't made these yet but I plan to using the cut down recipe given below because these sound yummy and my family loves beans. I just wish the food police would stop with their negativity especially when they haven't even MADE them! If a recipe does not meet your exacting nutirtional standards then just move along until you find one that does. No need to criticize the rest of us!

Much better the second day. I used the smaller recipe from a reviewer, but I'd suggest using less vinegar.

What a shame that the only bad reviews are by people who haven't even tried this recipe. Looks like a great recipe...think I'll make it for our next potluck. Notice: I'm not including a rating because I HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET.

I would never make this dish because of the sodium content. We are talking seven cans of beans that salty, three lbs of bacon one and a half catsup the nutriiiitional facts cannot be right, oh forgot the sausage, loaded with salt.

To 1DCOL I believe you missed the line that says FOUR 13x9 dishes.
