This tangy sandwich filling is so easy to prepare in the slow cooker, and it goes over well at gatherings large and small. I frequently take it to potlucks, and I'm always asked for my secret ingredient. —Marylou LaRue, Freeland, Michigan

I have some very picky eaters and they gobbled this up and asked for more.

Made this recipe last night. It is wonderful! So much flavor! I did use a yellow bell pepper because it is milder than its green counterpart. The only tip I have is to suggest you use your cusinart if you have one to make the chopping go quicker.

My mom, who usually turns up her nose at beef-turned-turkey recipes, even asked for the recipe. REALLY good and easy.

Made as directed except added a tinch more brown sugar. My family loved it and I will be making this many more times. Also it easy to prepare. Our local grocery store sells peppers and onions and celery all chopped so made preparation even more easy. :)

Tasted great, and is wonderful knowing that it is a healthier version of the traditional sloppy joe! Would definitely make again!

Made this...it's in the crockpot now. I made no changes to the recipe...It's DELICIOUS. I had to cut up the onion, celery & green Pepper very finely so my husband wouldn't notice them in there. Will definately remake this!

I doubled the recipe since I have a large crockpot and knew that this would reheat nicely for a leftover meal. I substituted onecan of tomato rice soup along with the tomato soup specified and I think it added a nice texture. I also added a couple of tablespoons of cider vinegar to the sauce to give it a little more tang.
