I like to share this dish at potlucks because it can be made ahead, which I especially appreciate during the busy holiday season. The sweet-and-spicy sauce is always a hit.Martha Anne Carpenter, Mesa, Arizona

I didn't like the molasses flavor

This was simple to make but for me the molasses was way overpowering. I didn't think that the hot sauce was too much like some of the other reviews said though.

This will be our new "go to" recipe for pulled pork. I love the no mess/fuss slow cooker approach. Didn't add the extra hot sauce in the end due to feedback from others that it gave it too much of a kick and it was tasty and delicious. I'd suggest a little hit of chipotle pepper just for flavour if you like it.

I made this for the Super Bowl and everyone love it but as for I enjoyed it and did not really like as much because of the molasses it was a little to sweet for me. That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5.

Very delicious and simple to make. I made the roast ahead of time and shredded it, and put it in the fridge. The day of guests arrivin, just dumped it in the crockpot and put the sauce ing. on top and stirred a few times while simmering. It was a great hit on fresh homemade rolls. I used Franks' Buffalo Hot sauce. Spicy & zippy.

Was nervous about making shredded pork for the first time. But this recipe was easy to follow and the fact you can pre set the night before is wonderful. Whole family enjoyed. One note: If you are not a spicy lover watch out for the hot sauce it seanks up on you.
