Rating 5

Preparing this dressing in a slow cooker makes it moist and delicious. My family enjoys it so much that I serve it alongside a variety of main meals.—Ellen Benninger, Stoneboro, Pennsylvania

Very easy to make, few ingredients, and big on taste. This has become a Thanksgiving favorite in my house.

I have made this recipe several times and it comes out great every time. To make it even richer on occation, I have used the fat off the top of the broth in leiu of the butter.

I made it for my family gathering at Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure what the taste would be coming from a slow cooker but it was really good. I've been asked to bring the dressing for potluck Christmas dinner. I did add more bread near the end and will add more to start this time
