This is the only way my family likes ham. I followed the recipe except I make a paste of the ingredients using a little Dr Pepper or coke (whichever I have on hand) and sit the ham on a bed of pineapple chunks.

Well I replaced the cola with gingerale. I inserted approximately 15 whole cloves in the ham after I put on the glaze. I liked the recipe, but I liked my changes better.

Made this with a honey cured turkey breast and it was wonderful. Took it to a potluck and there was nothing left. If I make it again, at serving time, I might try to thickened the sauce and serve it over the meat. Thanks for another great recipe.

I have made this recipe many times, except that I always pour the rest a a whole can of cola in the crock- pot. I got my recipe from a different source though. Everything else is the same. My family loves it this way. It's about the only way I make ham.

Easy and delicious! Made it for Easter and it was a huge hit. Some of said it was the best ham they'd ever had. My son-in-law took "2nd's" so it had to be great! He's picky about his meat!

This was the most tender, moist, delicious ham I have ever tasted. I used a 5.5 lb. ham, and only had to cook it on low for about 6 hours. It might have dried out, otherwise. Will use this recipe as-is for years to come. Thanks! Big Smile
