Prepared in a slow cooker, this tasty, no-fuss main dish has a flavorful blend of seasonings and the irresistible duo of tender chicken and moist dressing. It's nice enough for the holidays and easy enough to fix year-round. -Angie Marquart, New Washington, Ohio

I used canned chicken and it was an ok substitute. Very easy to prepare.

WE LOVE, LOVE , LOVE THIS!!! It's tastes like Grandma's and smells wonderful while cooking! I have been making this recipe for many years, I first saw it in TOH magazine about 8 years ago??

I've been making this stuffing for years. I usually bake it in the oven for holidays. Comes out great every time!

Made the whole house smell like Thanksgiving! The prep time was more like an hour for me. (rather than the 25 min it says)

Very good crock-pot recipe, which means it's very convenient. Nice one, too, to take to potlucks as a change from all the tomato-based pasta stuff people bring. Good down-home comfort food.

Changed the recipe by using my cornbread-based stuffing and cooking in crockpot. Love fixing it this way. Never again will the holiday oven be quite so crowded when the stuffing can be put into crockpot and forgotten, freeing up precious oven space.
