100% would make again

I found this recipe 30 years ago on a can label. My family loved it, and I later found I always received compliments when I took the dish to potluck suppers. Since it's so easy to put together, it makes a real time-saver for a busy housewife or working mother.

My son who is a picky eater loves this recipe - even with the green peppers! It's an easy last minute meal with ingredients already in my pantry!

This is what I call "goo-losh" except I leave out the green pepper and add mushrooms & sliced black olives and of course garlic powder. I top mine with grated cheese (very good with sharp cheddar). Make the big batch because it's always better the second day.
