Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1 frozen New York-style cheesecake (30 ounces), thawed
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Directions

  • Place chocolate chips in a small bowl. In a small saucepan, bring 1/4
  • cup cream just to a boil. Pour over chips; whisk until smooth. Cool
  • slightly, stirring occasionally. Pour over cheesecake. Sprinkle
  • chopped pecans over top. Refrigerate until set.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook until sugar is dissolved, about 1
  • minute. Stir in remaining cream and return to a boil. Remove from
  • the heat. Serve with cheesecake. Yield: 8 servings.
