Simple Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

  • In a large skillet, melt butter. Add the mushrooms, lemon juice and soy sauce. Saute for 6-8 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving equals 132 calories, 12 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 31 mg cholesterol, 350 mg sodium, 5 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 4 g protein.

We absolutely loved this side dish! Make sure to use low-sodium soy sauce because the regular kind makes it too salty.

This was an excellent recipe. I made it exactly as the recipe specify and pour it over grilled steaks. I will make this dish again and recommend it to anyone who love mushrooms.
