Because broccoli salad won't wilt like lettuce salads, you can make it ahead for added convenience. To enhance the salad, I will sometimes add walnuts, green grapes, mushrooms and a touch of onion. This recipe is the same as the one I use to make at a deli I worked for. To make it exactly the same add 1/4 Cup Red Onion, Chopped and use Apple Cider Vinegar instead of White Vinegar.
