Good tuna salad but a little bland - I would increase the dill especially, although I usually use more tuna than recipes call for which could be the explanation. However, I don't see how you can get 5 sandwiches as full as in the picture out of only 3 (6 oz) cans of tuna after they're drained.

I found this recipe to be good, but not outstanding. I would include diced apple to the mix!

There are so many variations on tuna salad. This one looks wonderful. I remember adding walnuts to mine once, and a friend makes a scrumptious version with, of all things, diced apples!

I dont like the cellery or cucumber either, thanks for the idea! I have been putting dill relish in mine, but i like the idea of fresh Dill, Carrots and Scalions! I Bet it would be great! Thanks for the tip!

Adding carrots is a great idea, but a problem I have with most tuna salads is that they usually contain either celery or cucumber, and if either of these is present, it seems to be all I can taste! Because tuna salad usually needs something green & crunchy, several years ago I started putting finely chopped scallions in mine, and everyone I have made it for has been a convert. I'll definitely try adding carrots next time, though!

I have fixed this many times since I first saw it. I also add drained water chestnuts for even more crunch.
