This bread is always a big hit with my family who insists that cheese should be its own food group! It's great paired with soups or anything with a sauce that can be used for dipping.

My son's best friend would frequently drop by after his football practices and stay for dinner. I often served this bread withsoup. Tom made sure IF there was any bread leftover that it went home with him for a study snack.

This is one of my favorite appetizer recipes! It is so good! I use whatever cheese I have on hand--cheddar, Colby/Jack, Mozzarella. If I don't have a chunk to slice, I just use shredded and it works well, too.

Simply Awesome! This bread was so addictive. I added a little more butter, another cup of cheese (stuffing it both inside the slits and over the top), and left off the poppy seeds, and yet, it was still totally awesome. It was a great Super Bowl snack to say the least.

When you read the recipe it's hard to envision just how good this bread is. It's so simple- but it is wonderfully delicious and guests LOVE it. I made mine with a mix of Colby-jack and sharp white cheddar cheese and I substituted sesame seeds, as I had them on hand. People were requesting the recipe as they were leaving- this bread is that good!
