I thicken my apple pie filling with a little cornstarch and water and continue cooking until thick.

I used brown sugar and these apples turned out delicious -- sweet enough but not too sweet.

I wanted the liquid a little thicker so I added 1/3 cut light brown sugar. It turned out perfect. Used this recipe to as a topping for pancakes, and will definitely use it again.

Made this in a hurry. Just did one apple. Turned out Great, my entire family loved it and requested it again. It's so easy to make and modify, I'll definitely be making this again. I always have apples in the house. :-)
