Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups shredded peeled potato
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 package Jimmy Dean® Regular Roll Sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Black Pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 60 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups Crisco® Vegetable Oil

Directions

  • In a large skillet, cook potato, onion and garlic in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in sausage, salt and pepper. In a bowl, beat 5 eggs. Add eggs to skillet; cook and stir over medium heat until eggs are completely set. Stir in parsley. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, beat remaining egg. Separate wonton wrappers and brush top with beaten egg. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon sausage mixture onto center of each wonton wrapper. Fold in half diagonally to form a triangle. In skillet, heat oil to 375°. Fry treasures, a few at a time, for 20 seconds on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
