Sausage Minestrone

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1-3/4 cups water,
divided
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup uncooked fine egg noodles
1 cup chopped cabbage
1-1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch sugar
1/2 pound fully cooked turkey kielbasa, halved lengthwise and sliced
Directions
In a 3-qt. microwave-safe dish, combine the onion, celery, 1/4 cup
water and garlic powder. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, noodles, cabbage, bouillon, basil, oregano,
sugar and remaining water. Cover and microwave on high for 11-13
minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring twice. Add sausage;
cook 2 minutes longer. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes before
serving. Yield: 4 servings.
