I don't always have time to fix the home-cooked meals my family loves, so I've come to rely on my slow cooker a lot. I fix these tangy chops at least once a week—the meat's so tender you can cut it with a fork—and we all love it! —Jennifer Ruberg, Two Harbors, Minnesota

This was delicious! I didn't add the liquid smoke though. This reminds me of a recipe that my friend's mom made a long time ago. I have been looking for it forever!

Made this for me and one of my neighbors. We both loved it. I did NOT use an entire teaspoon of salt and left out the browning sauce. I will cut down the brown sugar next time. Otherwise, it was delicious. We made sandwiches out of the leftovers :)

This is so simple and delicious. I'm making it for the 2nd time but this time I'm doubling it since we had no leftovers the first time!

For a diabetic, way to many carbs. Ever tried sugar substitute or use BBQ sauce with just a little beer and liquid smoke?

haven't made this yet, but wholy cow, the sodium, 1748mg per serving, wonder how to tame that down a bit.????

I followed the recipe exactly. Delicious and easy, and my family loved it. Tough to ask for much more than that!

I used country style pork ribs. They cooked to perfection in the crockpot. I also had succotash and mashed potatoes with it.

sorry, correction. I did my pork chops on the stove in a fry pan, not the crock pot.
The pork chops were excellent, but 4-5 hours is way out of line. Mine took 55 minutes to cook. There is no way an 8 ounce pork chop would take 4-5 hours.

Ultra easy to make. I went with the liquid smoke, but one additional teaspoon. Also used homemade brown sugar. Very good recipe; will make again. These easy recipes are nice on busy days!

sweet, tangy, easy

Very easy; I think the liquid smoke does add to the flavor and should not be considered optional.

Was good but nothing too special. I probably won't be making these again.

the ketchup was so over powering, it needs vinegar or something else with it. Maybe the optional liquid smoke would help. The pork chops were tender but we ended up throwing out most of the sauce.

This was very good and easy. Should have doubled it. Everyone wanted seconds.
