Saucy Apple Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 6 boneless pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger; mix well. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. In a skillet, brown pork chops in butter; place over applesauce mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Yield: 6 servings.

made half recipe applesauce with 2 chops, just right

I made it for two so only used two boneless chops in a 8 x 8 dish and it turned out very good.
