Santa turns out to be a handsome fellow when I use my favorite cutout cookie recipe. Painting on the candy coating allows for detailed decorating. My 14 shoe boxes of shaped cutters tell you how much I enjoy making cookies.

The cookie cutter is available at multiple sites online, just search for "Santa Cookie Cutter" and you'll get a whole list of options.

I couldn't wait to make these cookies. What a disappointment! I followed the recipe exactly and let the dough chill for 3 hours in frig. The dough was sticky and impossible to roll. I then added more flour, but still was not able to roll it out and use cookie cutters. I do not recommend this recipe!

My Grandmother use to make these cookies and we lost her cookie cutter. I would be so grateful to know where to find this cookie cutter.

Where can I find the actual Santa cookie cutter? He's one of the nicest ones I've seen. Thank you. GK, Westmont IL
