Salmon Crostini with Lemon Dill Sauce
Look no farther when you're searching for an elegeant appetizer that's easy to put together.

Ingredients
1 salmon fillet (12 ounces)
1 jar (8 ounces)
Crosse & Blackwell® Sweet Honey Lemon Dill Sauce
,
divided
24 slices French bread (1/2 inch thick)
Crisco® Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Canola Oil
1 carton (8 ounces) spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
Drained capers, fresh dill weed
or
parsley, optional
Directions
Place salmon in a greased shallow baking dish. Brush 1/3 cup of lemon
dill sauce over fillet. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until
salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, arrange bread on baking sheet. Brush both sides of bread
with olive oil. Bake in oven with salmon for 5 minutes or until
crisp.
Spread cream cheese over top of each crostini. Flake salmon into
large pieces and arrange on top. Drizzle a small amount of remaining
lemon dill sauce over top of salmon. Garnish crostini with capers,
dill or parsley if desired. Yield: 2 dozen.
