  • Prep/Total Time: 20 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet (12 ounces)
  • 1 jar (8 ounces) Crosse & Blackwell® Sweet Honey Lemon Dill Sauce, divided
  • 24 slices French bread (1/2 inch thick)
  • Crisco® Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Canola Oil
  • 1 carton (8 ounces) spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
  • Drained capers, fresh dill weed or parsley, optional

Directions

  • Place salmon in a greased shallow baking dish. Brush 1/3 cup of lemon dill sauce over fillet. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Meanwhile, arrange bread on baking sheet. Brush both sides of bread with olive oil. Bake in oven with salmon for 5 minutes or until crisp.
  • Spread cream cheese over top of each crostini. Flake salmon into large pieces and arrange on top. Drizzle a small amount of remaining lemon dill sauce over top of salmon. Garnish crostini with capers, dill or parsley if desired. Yield: 2 dozen.
