I have made this recipe many times. I usually don't like recipes with canned soup but this one is the exception. It has never tasted too sweet, or too much like ketchup. I love it and my family enjoys it too. It's one of my 'dog-eared, stained and wrinkled paper' favorites!

I made this last night and moved the recipe right into my 'Favorite Recipe' cook book. I will make this time and time again, but double up on the gravy. Excellent recipe!

I hate to give low rate on recipes but I did not care for the gravy at all i saved the beef patties on the side tasted the gravy then tossed it out made regular beef gravy.

I decided to give this recipe a try when I came across it while looking for dinner ideas one night. My husband absolutely loves salisbury steak so I felt I couldn't go wrong with this recipe because of all the positive reviews. Boy was I wrong. No one in my family liked it at all. Not even my husband. I doubled the recipe exactly as it was written but found the sauce to be way too sweet and to taste too much like ketchup. It was not good at all. I even attempted to make it better by adding a second can of soup, with no success. If I ever attempt this recipe again I will cut the ketchup down considerably and add some beef broth.

This was really tasty. The patties were very moist and soft and the gravy was very delicious. I also added fresh sliced mushrooms. I doubled the recipe with the exception of the canned soup. Will make sure I have the extra can next time. The family really enjoyed this dish and want it again. I had 2 patties left over and they were eaten the next day and they tasted even better.

I have made this several times over the years and LOVE it. I double the gravy portion and make mashed potatoes to go with it instead of the egg noodes. Always a hit!

This recipie makes very good moist beef patties that my whole family enjoyed. Next time I make it I will double the ingredients for the gravy because I felt I had to really scrape the pan to cover the patties and the noodles. Regardless this is a very quick, delicious and inexpensive recipie.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe and so does my family. I add about half a can of beef consumme' soup in order to make more gravy. I serve with mashed potatoes rather than egg noodles. Very economical as well...can't get any better than that!

Love this recipe. Instead of the French Onion Soup use " Beefy Onion Soup Mix " (or one similar) & water to replace liquid of French Onion Soup. I also omit the salt.My family prefers it with Mashed Potatoes.
