Once school starts, it can be hard for kids to let go of summer. But these rich, gooey, great-tasting bars will bring back sweet campfire memories—and smiles—whether they're served for dessert or as an after-school snack. —Lisa DiPrima, Wilton, New Hampshire

This recipe is a keeper! Tastes just like s'mores, without the campfire! Very popular with our family.

Took to an event and everyone wanted the recipe. Everyone, especailly my kids thought they were wonderful. My daughter wants me to make them tonight for her rowing team. Definately a family favorite.

these are FABULOUS!! I used 10 large marshmallows and cut them in half, put the cut side down. They browned just like on a campfire! So yummy still warm. These def make the do-over list!

I've made this twice - the 1st time I followed the recipe & the bars were great! The 2nd time I substituted the chocolate bars for p.b. cups, which was so delicious but even richer! Great recipe that hits the spot when one is in the mood for a s'more.

These were delicious. I followed the suggestions of using chocolate bars and not chocolate chips and marshmallow creme and not marshmallows, and they were perfect. They were easy to make and the kids love them.

Eh. It was OK. I'll probably make it again because my kids like it. Does not have the rich burst of flavors - definitely not the same as popping a fresh off the campfire s'more into your mouth.
