Wonderfully tasty, moist and delicious with a wonderful root beer flavour, this cake is a surefire winner! I really enjoyed it when I made it and I will definitely make it again!*I used a WAL-MART brand of root beer which tastes stronger than A&W but I don't mind because I like my root beer with a little bite! I'm going to try it with Barque's Root Beer next time!*

I love this cake! I think it's best when made a day or so before needed. I also add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp root beer concentrate to amp up the flavor. It's SO GOOD!

this was really easy to make specially since I'm not very good at cooking. the cake was delicious. it was light and fluffy. it didnt really taste like root beer though. however the frosting had that root beer flavor but my frosting came out too runny. next time i would probably place the frosting in the fridge for a bit to help it thicken up. all in all its a very good receipt and i would make it again.

Made this for the 4th of July. The kids and adults loved it! It is very easy to make. I used both envelopes of Dream Whip for the icing. One envelope was not enough.

I have done this a bunch of times, but try orange or strawberry soda!! I have even used grape, sure is a good treat on a hot summer day.

Absolutely delicious! Sometimes I don't even make the frosting and just serve the cake straight out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. YUM. :)
